Four qualities typify Ms. Elconin's investigation practice:
Independent
Too many times, the parties undertake the work and expense of conducting an investigation, only to later realize, that the investigation was compromised by a lack of independence and objectivity. Ms. Elconin understands the effort and expense each party invests in an investigation. Her primary goal, therefore, is to maintain the integrity of the investigation, by acting as an independent, neutral and objective third-party.
Timely
Conflicts inevitably disrupt the workplace, and any delays in the investigative process may significantly worsen an already difficult situation. Ms. Elconin understands the necessity to quickly and effectively gather the relevant information and provide the type of report best suited to your needs. Reports vary from short oral summaries to detailed written analyses of the facts and findings.
Comprehensive
After years of investigations, Ms. Elconin has honed her ability to determine the types of information that must be obtained and the best methods to obtain that information. Ever mindful that each investigation presents unique issues and personalities, Ms. Elconin thoroughly reviews all of the relevant information without needlessly delaying the investigative process by spending endless hours reviewing extraneous information.
Experience
With over 14 years of experience investigating a wide variety of workplace conflicts, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, whistle-blower, defamation, wage and hour, trade secrets/competition, invasion of privacy and workplace misconduct issues, Ms. Elconin understands the nuances and practical considerations of employment disputes.
